Next month is Global Astronomy Month 2015 (GAM 2015)! Astronomers Without Borders (AWB) and its partners have an exciting programme schedule with events to inform and inspire the public through astronomy.
Are you organising an event for GAM 2015 next month? The AWB website is the hub of all activities, with free event registration, galleries, articles, and much more. GAM participants from all parts of the world can add their local events to the events page. Clubs and organizations can also join AWB as members and participate in discussions and plans of the global programme.
GAM 2015 Highlights

This year GAM is hosting another Global Star Party – which they hope will be the largest stargazing party ever, spanning the globe.

For children there is a special category in the AstroPoetry contest. Poems can be submitted from March 1st onwards!

Globe at Night will organise light pollution measurements around the world

Secondary schools can discover their own asteroids in the International Asteroid Search Campaign,
Global Astronomy Month is organised each April by AWB. GAM 2015 hopes to bring enthusiasts together worldwide to celebrate AWB’s' motto One People, One Sky.
