The Galileo Teacher Training Program is now accepting proposals to support teacher training workshops in developing regions. Each grant (worth up to 500 Euro) will be aimed to help support and sustain organisations dedicated to improving science teaching practices worldwide. These funds can be used to create educational materials or fund teachers’ travel and accommodation for the planned workshops. While the grants are intended for developing countries, organisations in developed regions with strong applications are also invited to apply.
The proposals are due by 31 July 2011. The Galileo Teacher Training Program shares many of UNAWE’s goals and values, and we strongly encourage motivated UNAWE programmes to apply.
